William W. Goetz Joins Sysco as Senior Vice President-Marketing

HOUSTON (January 11, 2012 - Globe Newswire)Sysco Corporation announced that William W. Goetz has joined the company in the newly created role of Senior Vice President-Marketing.

"As we build a more robust marketing function to enhance our ability to differentiate Sysco in the marketplace, we are very pleased that Bill Goetz has joined the Sysco team," said Bill DeLaney, Sysco's president and chief executive officer. "Bill's depth of experience and expertise in business-to-business marketing will help us better partner with our customers, leverage our broad selling capabilities, enhance our market leadership position, and maximize our overall ability to market Sysco products and services."

Prior to joining Sysco, Goetz served as president and chief operations officer-Global Accounts and Strategic Markets at Cintas Corporation. Earlier in his career, Goetz held positions of increased marketing responsibility at both Cintas and ECOLAB Corporation.
