Proof of the Pudding, a caterer and contract-management firm based in Atlanta, has turned over the first phase of its recruitment process to AI. Through a service called Landed, notices of openings are shotgunned out to registered job hunters, presumably as a text or email. Recipients are asked to respond to a few quick questions. Their answers are analyzed by Landed’s AI platform to identify the most suitable candidates, and phone appointments are set with human screeners. The big benefit is the volume—the AI system can reach out and screen about 300 candidates per week. And the cost is reasonable, according to Proof.
